Fundraising tips

Practical ideas to help your fundraiser reach its goal.

1. Tell a clear, honest story

Explain who you are, what happened and exactly how the money will be used. Specific details — a surgery date, a repair estimate, a tuition bill — help people trust your fundraiser.

2. Use a real photo

A clear photo of the person or project you are raising money for makes a big difference. Avoid stock images and heavy filters.

3. Set a realistic goal

Start with what you need most urgently. You can raise your goal later as support grows.

4. Share early and often

Your first donations usually come from close friends and family. Send the link by text and email first, then share on social media. Ask supporters to share too.

5. Post updates

Updates show donors their gifts matter. Share progress, milestones and how funds were used.

6. Say thank you

Thank every donor personally. From your dashboard you can send a thank-you email with one click.
